Family Fun Night at BIG Cousin Gage's pre-school

Rayce & his momny were front and center to see BIG cousin Gage perform three songs at his Family Fun Night program.


Afterward, the family came to visit Gage's classroom and see all of his artwork. It was a proud moment for BIG cousin Gage!

1st road trip to Austin

We were packed in Momo's tahoe with three adults, three kiddos, our luggage, a HUGE American Bulldog... and a partridge in a pear tree!

Visit from Aunt Amy & the boys

Uncle Chad had to do a job in Houston so Aunt Amy and the boys came along for the ride. They ended up spending the rest of the week with us!
This was Uncle Chad's 1st time to hold Rayce because he had a head cold when he was born.

We went to Rayce's two week well check...

Then went to "Chicken House" per Gage's request, where Rayce slept right through lunch!

Rayce has a duck lip just like his mommy! That's an inside joke! =)

No More Nursing...

After 10 long days of trying everything Jenn could do to get her milk supply in... pumping, herbal pills and supplementing... she finally had to call it quits. Rayce just wasn't getting enough from her to stay satisfied. She put up a great fight and I'm so proud of her! I reassured her that it doesn't always work the way we plan, he got the colostrum and that was the most important part.

After eagerly trying everything she possibly could, Jenn's milk is FINALLY in!!

Rayce has to have some ointment put on his head from coming through the canal so this cool dude is already sporting a faux hawk! And lime green is obviously his color!!

First Outing

Jenn took Rayce on a one mile walk around the pond at the end of my mom's street. It was her first time trying out my sling and she loved it!

Apparently Momo was giving Rayce a sponge bath but he still managed to pee pee on his mommy! This pic was taken just after they finished getting him all snuggled up & warm.

Sleepy Boy

Today was my first day away from Baby Rayce so Jenn made sure to send me picture texts through out the day to let me know how he was doing. I miss him so much already!!

Home Sweet Home...

Or at least at Momo & Popo's house for now! Mom took off work to help Jenn out for a week so they will be staying with her for a while. I had the pleasure of staying in town until Sunday to also help out.

Going Home

All hospitals require mom's to get wheeled down in a wheel chair while holding baby in arms. Jenn was so ready to just walk out of there!

Of course I got to do the honors of getting him safely buckled in to his car seat!

Changing by the Minute

Baby Rayce has already changed so much since birth. This was only one day later and he already looked like a completely different baby!

Gavin LOVED holding Baby Rayce... he didn't ever want to let him go!



We made the boys shirts to wear at the hospital. On the front Gage's said Big Cousin, Gav's said Middle Cousin and Rayce's said Baby Cousin. The back had their names and birth order number.

Rayce had his circumcision and slept all day so he didn't actually get to wear his. So we are going to take pics of all of them in them when they come to visit Austin in a few weeks!
